This study assesses the level of digital transformation in hospitals in Hanoi, Vietnam, providing a comprehensive overview of the current state of digital technology adoption in healthcare. The results indicate that most hospitals are at the “Practitioner” level, reflecting progress in technology implementation but still facing many shortcomings and inconsistencies. The evaluation model is based on five key factors: “Strategy,” “Customer experience,” “Information Systems and technological infrastructure,” “People and culture,” and “Operations”. The “Strategy” factor has the greatest impact, highlighting the importance of leadership awareness, strategic integration, and investment in IT infrastructure in driving digital transformation. Following this are the factors of “Information systems and technology,” “People and culture,” “Customer experience,” and “Operations.” The study also identifies gaps in technology infrastructure and workforce training, providing solutions to improve the level of digital transformation and enhance the quality of healthcare services to meet development needs in the context of globalization.

Sustainable smart cities are innovative urban areas that utilize information technology, communication, and other means to enhance the quality of life, optimize urban activities, services, and increase competitiveness. In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the development of smart cities, along with adopting the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) model with a focus on extensive public transportation, is a suitable and effective direction for Hanoi's urban development. Smart cities are built on three pillars: intelligent social infrastructure, intelligent urban technical infrastructure, and digital infrastructure. The development of cities following the TOD model is closely related to smart cities and these three pillars. Research and evaluations have shown that TOD development is an intelligent solution for urban areas, effectively addressing various economic, social, and environmental challenges while preserving resources.

Digital transformation and digital competency at higher education have been receiving great attention in the current period. With the strong development of science and technology, it is necessary for students in general and pedagogical students in particular to have adequate knowledge, skills and attitudes towards digital transformation to be ready for their future careers. Appropriate understanding of digital transformation, digital competences development, correct identification of key issues of digital transformation implementation and procedure, adequate digital competencies formation to swiftly improve training quality and efficiency are significant to tertiary education institutions in the current context. The article employs theoretical research methods involving literature collection and analysis to make comments related to the digital competencies of pre-service teachers to devise a digital competency framework for pedagogical students in association with contextual changes and characteristic circumstances of Vietnam. The research results are the basis for assessing the current state of digital competencies of pedagogical students and proposing innovative solutions towards flexible and updated training programs that meet social needs.

Digital transformation enables higher education to change the traditional ways of running their activities including teaching, learning, researching, and operating with novel, creative and saved manners. Over the world, higher education institutions are struggling to build up and develop their digital transformation strategy and activities to find for themselves the most suitable models. This study aims to comprehensively review the pertinent literature to provide an integrative approach about digital transformation in higher education. We used Web of Science (WoS), Google Scholar, Research Gate, ScienceDirect as databases to access the papers about digital transformation in higher education. The selected papers must be about digital transformation in higher education, in English and with full-text accessibility. Totally, 24 papers were included in the review. Based on the information provided by our review, future research can used empirical design to identify and examine the factors impacting on the execution of digital transformation in higher education.
Chuyển đổi số giúp các trường đại học thay đổi các hoạt động dạy – học, nghiên cứu và vận hành truyền thống với các cách thức đổi mới, sáng tạo và tiết kiệm chi phí hơn. Trên thế giới, các trường đại học đều cố gắng xây dựng và phát triển chiến lược và các hoạt động chuyển đổi số để tìm ra một mô hình phù hợp nhất với từng đơn vị. Nghiên cứu này hệ thống tổng quan tài liệu để cung cấp những thông tin tổng hợp về hoạt động chuyển đổi số trong giáo dục đại học. Nghiên cứu sử dụng các cơ sở dữ liệu như Web of Science (WoS), Google Scholar, Research Gate, ScienceDirect để tiếp cận các bài báo về chuyển đổi số trong giáo dục đại học. Các bài báo được lựa chọn để nghiên cứu tổng quan phải đáp ứng các tiêu chí: có nội dung về chuyển đổi số trong giáo dục đại học, viết bằng tiếng Anh và có thể tiếp cận toàn văn. Tổng cộng có 24 bài báo được sử dụng để nghiên cứu tổng quan. Dựa vào các kết quả của nghiên cứu tổng quan này, nghiên cứu thực nghiệm trong tương lai có thể xác định và đánh giá các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến công tác triển khai hoạt động chuyển đổi số trong giáo dục đại học.

The study of digital transformation that leads to the implementation of the digital economy is a matter of special concern for businesses around the world. This study systematizes the theoretical basis of digital transformation in manufacturing enterprises and on that basis analyzes the current status and readiness for the digital transformation of electrical equipment manufacturers in Hanoi. The analysis results show that electrical equipment manufacturing enterprises in Hanoi are at the beginning of the digital transformation. Overall, companies show the highest levels of digital readiness in forward and backward linkages. The study also provides recommendations for businesses in the process of implementing digital transformation and recommendations on the state's macro policies in creating favorable conditions for businesses to successfully implement digital transformation in the future.
