Handbook of Translation Studies : Volume 3 Amsterdam : John Benjamins B.V, 2012 232 tr. ; 25 cm. Ký hiệu phân loại (DDC): 418.02 Cultural translation is a concept with competing definitions coming from two broad fields, anthropology/ethnography*and cultural/postcolonial* studies. In anthropology, it usually refers to the act of describing for members of one cultural community how
members of another interpret the world and their place in it. In cultural studies, it usu-ally refers to the different forms of negotiation that people engage in when they are displaced from one cultural community into another, or it refers to the displacement itself. Số bản sách:

Handbook of Translation Studies : Volume 4 Amsterdam : John Benjamins B.V, 2012 125 tr. ; 25 cm. Ký hiệu phân loại (DDC): 418.02 In 2009 we conceived of a new Handbook of Translation Studies (HTS). Four years on, we now present the fourth and (for the time being) last ‘classical’ volume of this series. Altogether, the four volumes offer 174 entries on translation and interpreting research
topics written by 135 different authors coming from all five continents. Although most of the authors can be considered well-established scholars in the discipline, we also invited several younger and promising researchers to contribute. We believe that
such a mix of backgrounds and generations rightfully represents the dynamics of the
discipline. Số bản sách:
