I. GENERAL REGULATIONS:

1. Regulations on the location and operating hours of the Information and Library Center, Nguyễn Tất Thành University (abbreviated: Library):

- 331 Quốc Lộ 1A Campus, An Phú Đông Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City
  7:30 AM to 9:00 PM: Monday to Friday  
  7:30 AM to 5:00 PM: Saturday and Sunday  

- 300A Nguyễn Tất Thành Campus, Ward 13, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City
  7:30 AM to 4:30 PM: Monday to Friday  

- 458/3F Nguyễn Hữu Thọ Campus, Tân Hưng Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City 
  7:30 AM to 4:30 PM: Monday to Friday  

Closed on school-recognized holidays. Depending on readers' actual needs, the library may open outside the aforementioned hours.

2. Library usage regulations:

- When visiting the library, students/learners/faculty/staff (abbreviated: readers) must scan their student/learner ID or employee ID at the librarian’s desk.  
- External readers must present identification documents to access library services and utilities.  
- The use of another person’s card or account is prohibited in the library.  
- Readers must dress appropriately, maintain silence, and avoid noise when using mobile phones.  
- Maintain cleanliness, no smoking, and avoid eating or drinking in a way that disrupts others or damages the library’s aesthetics.  
- Do not bring explosive or flammable materials into the library.  
- Readers must protect library property and conserve electricity, water, and other office supplies.  
- Safeguard personal belongings, as the library is not responsible for any loss of personal property.  
- Do not move furniture, equipment, or take materials out of the library without library staff permission.

II. DETAILED REGULATIONS

1. Computer usage regulations:

- Readers are allowed to use library computers for a maximum of 180 minutes per day to meet study, research, and wholesome entertainment needs.  
- Do not use library computers to access or distribute content that is politically subversive, obscene, violent, or inappropriate.  
- Computer games are only permitted for educational purposes, and playing any other type of game in the library is prohibited.  
- Do not edit, delete, or alter existing data on computers, e-books, or discs.  
- Do not disassemble or move any devices or computers in the library without permission from library staff.  
- If any issues arise while using computers or accessing the internet, readers must report them immediately to library staff.

2. Regulations for borrowing materials to take home:

- When borrowing materials to take home, readers must present their student/learner ID or employee ID to the library staff.  
- Readers can borrow a total of up to 10 books for a period of 14 days and can renew the loan once for the same duration.  

  Methods to renew borrowed materials:
  - Visit the library in person to renew  
  - Ask someone to renew on your behalf  
  - Call the library directly to renew  
  - Log in to your account at [http://elib.ntt.edu.vn](http://elib.ntt.edu.vn) to renew  

- Readers are responsible for taking care of borrowed materials during the loan period.  
- Single-copy books, theses, specialized journals are not available for borrowing to take home.  
- If a reader returns borrowed materials after the due date, their library card will be suspended for a period corresponding to the overdue time as follows:  
  - Overdue by 1 to 3 days: card suspension for 7 days  
  - Overdue by 4 to 10 days: card suspension for 30 days  
  - Overdue by 11 to 30 days: card suspension for 120 days (one semester)  
  - Overdue by 31 to 60 days: card suspension for 360 days (one academic year)  
  - Overdue by more than 60 days: permanent card suspension  

- If a reader loses, tears, or damages a borrowed book, they must either replace the book or pay the current market price, plus an additional 10,000 VND per book for processing fees.

3. Penalties for violations:

Any violation of the rules at the Information and Library Center will be strictly handled. Depending on the severity of the violation, the violator may face one or more of the following disciplinary or administrative actions:

- Warning and caution  
- Temporary suspension of library usage rights  
- Indefinite suspension of library usage rights  
- Disciplinary action  
- Financial penalties or compensation for lost/damaged materials or equipment according to existing regulations  
- Prosecution in the Ho Chi Minh City Civil Court
