Tóm tắt This study aimed to investigate the translation competence of senior students at Nguyen Tat Thanh University through the perspectives of both Translation-majored instructors and students, employing in-depth surveys and interviews as primary data collection instruments. Analysis of interview data from eighty students facilitated a critical evaluation of their perceptions regarding various dimensions of the course. Specifically, the investigation explored student sentiments towards the translation course, the challenges they encountered during its progression, and the pedagogical approaches employed as perceived by Translation-majored faculty, alongside their recommendations for future course enhancement.
