Ký hiệu phân loại (DDC): 373.1 The experiential learning model is applied to teaching practical content with great effectiveness as a tool to help learners improve their ability to self- discover and acquire knowledge and exploit learners’ strengths in learning new knowledge. This study introduces the steps of David A. Kob's experiential learning model and applies this model to teaching the concept “Rectangular box” (Math 7). Through teaching according to the experiential learning model, students can experience and experiment with models of familiar real objects to form the concept of “rectangular box”. Consequently, the students can easily shift from practical experience to knowledge construction and acquisition, having a positive attitude in learning, thereby contributing to improving the quality of Math teaching in schools.
