Ký hiệu phân loại (DDC): 418.007 Aims to study further the factors that influence the engagement of EFL (English as a Foreign Language) university students at NTTU in speaking activities, such as language anxiety, teaching methods, and peer interaction. By assessing internal and external factors, this research intends to study further into how the students are influenced by motivation, teaching methods, or technological tools in English oral communication activities. Furthermore, by examining further into the different outcomes and effectiveness of two main teaching methodologies, including teacher-centered approach and student-centered approach, the comparison between these two approaches could be used to evaluate the influence of teaching methodologies on the enthusiasm among non-English major university students regarding to English speaking practices. Ký hiệu phân loại (DDC): 615 To assess the prior knowledge of teaching methods among nurse lecturers before participating in the train-of-trainer workshop, namely “Covid-19 and Nursing Education: Strengthening nurse lecturers’ teaching capacities and learning environments for the new normal ”. Subjects and methods: A cross - sectional study was used to assess the knowledge of teaching methods of all nurse lectures from five nursing schools. An online survey, which had 25 items related to 05 topics in the workshop, was developed. The initial results of knowledge regarding teaching methods indicated the need of conducting the training program for nurse lecturers. The study outcome has potential application based on its series of training workshops, teaching demonstration and a combination of quantitative and qualitative evaluation on the effectiveness of the training program.
