To investigate the current status of pterygium, the relationship between the disease and risk factors from external circumstances and personal factors. This was a cross-sectional study, co people, especially the elderly and women need to limit their exposure to risk factors from the outside environment that can cause pterygium by wearing sunglasses and safety glasses. Use artificial tears to clean your eyes regularly. Having periodic eye exams for early detection and timely treatment of pterygium was crucial.

To describe the current status of knowledge and practice of myocardial infarction (MI) prevention and to evaluate the effectiveness of health education intervention on MI prevention among -patients with type 2 diabetes and dyslipidemia treated at the Vietnam National Hospital of Endocrinology in 2022. Participants and methods: An interventional study was conducted on 62 inpatients with type 2 diabetes and dyslipidemia treated at the Department of Cardiology and Metabolic Disorders of Vietnam National Hospital of Endocrinology from June to August 2022. The intervention was guided by the MOH guidelines with the sessions on knowledge and practice of myocardial infarction and infarction prevention. The knowledge and practice questionnaire were used to measure outcomes at three-point times, namely, baseline, post-intervention, and follow-up. Health education intervention was demonstrated to improve the participants’ knowledge and practice of MI prevention. In nursing care practice, health education related to knowledge and practice of MI prevention for patients with type 2 diabetes and dyslipidemia should be maintained and strengthened.

Describe the knowledge and practice of self-care among patients with post-operative of the lower third molar at the Air Defense – Air Force Academy and related factors. Participants and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study on 99 patients with post-operative of the lower third molar treated as outpatients at Dental Center 225, Air Defense – Air Force Academy from December 2021 to June 2022. Results: The percentage of patients with post-operative of the lower third molar accounted 80.8%, and 66.7% for self-care knowledge and practice.. The study initially identified the related factors of female patients with a history of first surgery had better knowledge. The patients with high education and good social support had better self-care practice. Patients with self-care knowledge achieved self-care practice 6.5 times higher than those with low self-care knowledge. Conclusion: The patient had good knowledge of self-care for post-operative of the lower third molar of lower jaw. The patients had the right knowledge and the practice had good treatment results. Thereby contributing to improving the patient’s attitude and behavior in the implementation of self-care for post-operative of the lower third molar.
