Ad hoc and sensor networks : theory and applications / Carlos de Morais Cordeiro, Dharma P. Agrawal Singapore : World Scientific, 2011 xxv, 636 pages. : illustrations ; 23 cm. Ký hiệu phân loại (DDC): 004.6 This book provides a comprehensive yet easy coverage of ad hoc and sensor networks and fills the gap of existing literature in this growing field. It emphasizes that there is a major interdependence among various layers of the network protocol stack. Contrary to wired or even one-hop cellular networks, the lack of a fixed infrastructure, the inherent mobility, the wireless channel, and the underlying routing mechanism by ad hoc and sensor networks introduce a number of technological challenges that are difficult to address within the boundaries of a single protocol layer. All existing textbooks on the subject often focus on a specific aspect of the technology, and fail to provide critical insights on cross-layer interdependencies. To fully understand these intriguing networks, one need to grasp specific solutions individually, and also the many interdependencies and cross-layer interactions Số bản sách:

Computer networks / Andrew S. Tanenbaum, Nick Feamster, D. Wetherall Harlow, United Kingdom : Pearson, 2021 946 pages. : illustrations (black and white) ; 28 cm. Ký hiệu phân loại (DDC): 004.6 In Computer Networks,Tanenbaum et al. explain how networks work from the inside out. They start with the physical layer of networking, computer hardware and transmission systems, then work their way up to network applications. Each chapter follows a consistent approach: The book presents key principles, then illustrates them utilizing real-world example networks that run through the entire book - the Internet, and wireless networks, including Wireless LANs, broadband wireless, and Bluetooth. The 6th edition is updated throughout to reflect the most current technologies, and the chapter on network security is rewritten to focus on modern security principles and actions.Tutorial videos on key networking topics and techniques are available to students on the companion website at www.pearsonglobaleditions.com Số bản sách:

Data analysis for network cyber-security / Niall M. Adams, Nicholas Heard (editor) London, UK : Imperial College Press, 2014 ix, 189 pages. ; 25 cm. Ký hiệu phân loại (DDC): 005.8 There is increasing pressure to protect computer networks against unauthorized intrusion, and some work in this area is concerned with engineering systems that are robust to attack. However, no system can be made invulnerable. Data Analysis for Network Cyber-Security focuses on monitoring and analyzing network traffic data, with the intention of preventing, or quickly identifying, malicious activity. Such work involves the intersection of statistics, data mining and computer science. Fundamentally, network traffic is relational, embodying a link between devices. As such, graph analysis approaches are a natural candidate. However, such methods do not scale well to the demands of real problems, and the critical aspect of the timing of communications events is not accounted for in these approaches. This book gathers papers from leading researchers to provide both background to the problems and a description of cutting-edge methodology. The contributors are from diverse institutions and areas of expertise and were brought together at a workshop held at the University of Bristol in March 2013 to address the issues of network cyber security. The workshop was supported by the Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research Số bản sách:
