VSL is facing several pressing challenges in its freight forwarding operations. These include delays caused by fragmented communication and inefficient processes, difficulties in complying with evolving international trade regulations, rising operational costs due to fuel prices and suboptimal route management, and a lack of advanced digital solutions for tracking and automation. Additionally, VSL has limited initiatives toward sustainable practices, which increasingly impact market competitiveness as environmental concerns grow. Addressing these issues is essential to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve customer satisfaction. Furthermore, improving freight forwarding processes would position VSL to compete more effectively on the global stage and align with industry trends prioritizing digitalization and sustainability.This study examines freight forwarding operations, encompassing cargo transportation, customs clearance, freight rate negotiations, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The analysis will cover data from 2020 to 2024 Geographical Scope: The research is centered on Saigon Logistics Trading and Transport Co., Ltd., focusing on its activities within the Vietnamese market and its primary freight forwarding markets.To provide a detailed analysis of the Freight Forwarding process at Saigon Logistics Transportation Trading Company Limited. To identify existing problems within this process, and proposing recommendations to optimize the company's Freight Forwarding operational efficiency.

This study aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of freight forwarding operations at VietAviation Logistics. The research focuses on mapping detailed workflows to identify critical activities and gain a deeper understanding of the company’s current practices. Through this examination, the study seeks to uncover inefficiencies and evaluate their impact onoverall performance.Building on these findings, the thesis aims to pinpoint key challenges and operational bottlenecks that hinder the efficiency of VietAviation Logistics’ freight forwarding processes. It will then propose practical and actionable strategies tostreamline operations. The ultimate goal is to enhance operational efficiency, maintain service quality in line with industry standards, and effectively respond to evolving customer demands.
