“Self-studying, self-improvement” is an essential component among the general competencies to form and develop for learners according to the 2018 General Education Curriculum. Currently, self-study materials in the Organic Chemistry section (grade 11) are available but far from rich. This article points out the measures to exploit the digital learning resource SC Web, which was developed by the research group, to support self-study of this topic in high schools based on two basic ways of organizing teaching including: deploying new lessons and reviewing and practicing. The effectiveness of the measures was confirmed by pedagogical experimentation in some classes at high schools in Da Nang City. The results show that students’ scores and expressions of self-study competence in experimental class were improved.
