26 years ago, when the country entered a period of strong transformation after the renovation, the urgent need for an applied university education, linked to practice and oriented towards integration prompted the birth of Nguyen Tat Thanh University. It is no coincidence that this school is named after the great teacher - President Ho Chi Minh, it is a responsible choice, a commitment to society about the mission that the school will shoulder: training people with intelligence, morality and the desire to build the country.

26 years is enough time to verify a vision, enough to affirm a mission. From a training facility for workers in the garment industry, the school has developed into a multidisciplinary university, with the capacity to train from undergraduate to postgraduate level, gathering hundreds of prestigious domestic and international lecturers and experts, serving more than 30,000 students, trainees, and postgraduates each year. We not only expand in scale, but also focus on quality and sustainability. Each development strategy is based on the foundation of "taking learners as the center", closely linked with businesses, the labor market and the constant movement of science and technology.

We always believe that education cannot stop at providing knowledge but must be a place to expand the boundaries of thinking, nurture the ability to think critically, creatively and build professional qualities - essential for people to adapt, survive and lead in a world that is constantly changing. Therefore, Nguyen Tat Thanh University is not only a place to impart knowledge, but also a place to create - to create people, to create values, and to create faith in the future.

More than ever, we are deeply aware that the role of universities in the new era is not only to “produce” qualified labor, but also to be a center for research, innovation, inspiration and community engagement. Universities are where strategic thinking meets social responsibility. With that vision, Nguyen Tat Thanh University is gradually building a closed ecosystem of education – research – innovation – entrepreneurship, in which learners are not only knowledge recipients, but also creators of new values.

In its development strategy, the University focuses on three pillars: (1) Comprehensive digital transformation, from training models to university governance; (2) Strengthening international integration through joint programs, exchanges, joint degrees and research cooperation; (3) Innovation and entrepreneurship as the driving force for development. We aim for a university model that is innovative, modern, socially responsible, academically prestigious and has a profound impact on the community.

On the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the University's founding (June 5, 1999 - June 5, 2025), on behalf of the Board of Directors and the Board of Management of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, we would like to express our deep gratitude to the generations of leaders, all lecturers and staff through the periods who have been dedicating their efforts and intelligence to build a strong and prestigious Nguyen Tat Thanh University like today. The proud achievements of the NTTU Knowledge Building over the past time are the crystallization of a whole process and the resonance of many factors, the contributions and wishes of many generations. You are the ones who, together with us, have created a school not only for the present - but also for the future.

Thank you to the scientists and teachers who have chosen Nguyen Tat Thanh University as a place to dedicate themselves to the career of nurturing and nurturing talents and nurturing a passion for research. Thank you to the students, trainees and postgraduates who have chosen NTTU as a place of knowledge and a starting point for their dreams. Thank you to the parents who have trusted us with their children so that we have the opportunity to impart knowledge.

We would also like to express our deep gratitude to the leaders of Departments, Boards, Sectors, press agencies, universities and colleges at home and abroad, educational institutions, high schools, educational centers, and partner businesses... who have regularly cared for and supported the school in its 26-year development journey.

Ahead is a new journey with many advantages but also many new difficulties and challenges. However, with the spirit of solidarity, creativity, and overcoming difficulties, the collective of teachers and students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University will continue to promote the good tradition, join hands and make the school named after Uncle Ho in his youth develop more and more, becoming a building of knowledge and happiness, worthy of the trust of society and learners.
