10 Alkaline Ionized Water Filter Systems Officially Put Into Service For Staff, Lecturers And Students
NTTU – On the morning of March 3, Nguyen Tat Thanh University inaugurated the Alkaline Ionized Water Purifier system and officially put it into service for staff, lecturers and students. Attending the inauguration ceremony were the University Council, the Board of Directors and a large number of students.
Attending and speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Mai Lan - Party Secretary, Chairman of the School Council, affirmed that this is an effort of the Board of Directors, School Council, and Board of Management in taking care of the health of staff, lecturers, employees, students and trainees. At the same time, the School also wishes to contribute a small part in protecting the environment, reducing plastic waste discharged into the environment.

10 Alkaline Ionized Water filtration systems are installed at Nguyen Tat Thanh University's training facilities, of which District 4 has 4 systems, District 7 has 1 system and District 12 has 5 systems.

Staff, lecturers and students can use water bottles instead of plastic bottles, contributing to environmental protection.
According to MSc. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao - Permanent Deputy Head of the Student Affairs Department, Secretary of the School Youth Union, this system provides a source of quality drinking water, operating on the principle of electrolysis to separate water molecules with the function of creating electrolyte water. In addition, switching to on-site filtered water helps save costs on buying bottled water, while minimizing the amount of plastic waste, contributing to the goal of building a green, clean, and sustainable campus.
Through this project, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has affirmed its strong commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), directly contributing to the realization of Goal 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation, ensuring that all members of the Nguyen Tat Thanh University community have access to clean, safe water, contributing to improving the quality of life. At the same time, it demonstrates the university's determination to promote sustainable consumption and production models, reduce plastic waste, in line with Goal 12. Moreover, clean and quality water also helps students, staff and workers in the university improve their health, contributing to the implementation of Goal 3 on Good Health and Life, contributing to demonstrating the mission of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
Through activities to care for the lives of staff, lecturers, students and trainees, Nguyen Tat Thanh University hopes to make efforts to create a learning environment with the goal of comprehensive human development so that learners can become active citizens, with the capacity to start a business, innovate, integrate and be highly competitive in the domestic and foreign labor markets.
